Cost & consultation
What the first
conversation costs: nothing.
The initial conversation is free and comes with no obligation. Here is exactly what happens on it, and how fees actually get decided afterward.
- 01 / TELL US WHAT IS GOING ON
A few sentences is enough to start.
A notice, missing years, collection pressure, or just a general mess — say what you know, in your own words.
- 02 / WE ASK CLARIFYING QUESTIONS
Deadlines, records, and prior filings.
We figure out what is urgent and what information is needed to see the real picture.
- 03 / YOU GET A SCOPE, NOT A SCRIPT
What the work likely involves, and roughly what it takes.
No pressure, no countdown timer. You get an honest read on the size of the job.
- 04 / THE FEE IS QUOTED IN WRITING
Before anything billable happens.
A written engagement letter sets the scope and the fee. Nothing starts until you have agreed to both.
How fees actually work
We do not publish a flat number, because the work is not flat.
A single-year filing, a multi-year unfiled cleanup, and IRS collections representation are very different jobs. What stays the same is how you find out what it costs.
- The initial conversation is free, with no obligation to move forward.
- Fees are based on the actual scope of work, not a generic rate card.
- You get the number in writing before any billable work begins — no surprise invoices.
- A signed engagement letter, not this page, governs the actual fee and scope.
